Sidecar was originally invented at a bar in Paris in 1931 for one of the patrons who was fond of arriving driven in a motorcycle sidecar.

Ingredients

1.5 oz (4.5 cl) brandy
1 oz (3 cl) triple sec
1 oz (3 cl) lemon juice

Garnishes

Sugar rim
Lemon twist

Glass

Cocktail glass

Instructions

Apply sugar rim to cocktail glass.
Combine ingredients over ice.
Shake and strain into glass.
Add lemon twist.
