Mint Julep

Mint Julep is a cocktail associated with the cuisine of the Southern United States.Ingredients
- 3 oz (9 cl) bourbon
- 5-6 sprigs of mint
- 1 tsp (0.5 cl) sugar
- Mint leaves
- Crush the sugar with four sprigs of mint in the bottom of the glass.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and then add the bourbon. Feel free to add more bourbon to fill the glass, if necessary.
- Garnish with remaining mint.
- Insert a straw, cutting it to no more than 2 inches (5 cm) above the rim of the glass (allows one to smell the julep while drinking).
- Serve.
