Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary, invented in the 1920s, is a spicy tomato juice and vodka drink that is great for brunch, cold days and easing hangover pains.


Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz (4.5 cl) vodka
  • 3 oz (9 cl) tomato juice
  • 0.5 oz (1.5 cl) lemon juice
  • 7 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1 pinch freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated horseradish
Garnishes
  • Pickled asparagus sprig or
  • Slice of celery
Glass Instructions
  • Pour ingredients into shaker filled with ice, shake.
  • Strain into a Collins glass with ice.
  • Garnish with asparagus or celery.
